Susan has been through quite a lot in the years following her Britain’s Got Talent stardom. Many of the events in her life were positive, but in 2016 Susan dealt with the heartbreaking loss of her beloved sister, Birdie. On her loss, Susan said, “It was very hard. Birdie was such a beautiful person, and very supportive of me. She was a great loss to me and the family. After she passed, I felt I had to take a step back, to find where I was going. I needed to take stock.”
