Throwing it back to Susan’s beginnings in Blackburn, Scotland, a baby Susan is being held by her mother in this photo. She was born in April of 1961 to Patrick, her miner father who was musically inclined as well, and her mother, Bridget, who was a typist. Susan was born when her mother was 45 years old and is the youngest of nine children to the Boyle household. No one could have anticipated Susan’s shining future.
