There were also many parents of students at Wendover Middle School who were not raising questions about the student, but also raising questions about the school in general. Most importantly, they were raising questions about the security at the school. If a sleepwalking student was able to easily break in without realizing it in the middle of the night, who else would be able to enter the school? With no alarm system, windows that could easily be open and no up-to-date security cameras, the school was simply waiting for another intruder who would not call 911 on themselves.
