Despite the fact that Peyton had moved on to the Broncos (and even got the team to the Super Bowl), the City of Indianapolis still views Manning as one of their own. It is for this reason that the Indianapolis Colts management has decided to retire the number 18, which was Peyton’s number on the team. There is also a statue of the man which is set to be unveiled at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
