It’s both weird and hilarious thinking that this guy would rather admit to having an affair than admit to not doing as he was told. While it might have seemed hilarious at the time, we’re sure he was also regretting the decision that caused the scratches. Moral of the story: don’t chase after racoons.
Although, later, he would realize that there was another, potentially worse consequence. The wrath of a wife who has had her advice directly ignored. Lethal. Proceed with caution.
