Jessaka and Josh wanted not only to adopt children, they wanted to adopt a group of sibling children. They knew that there was a serious problem with children in the system to be put in the same home as most families wanted one child, not more. Josh explained to People Magazine in May of 2017, “There was a huge need, especially for larger sibling groups. They are normally split up and that’s detrimental — it was in our hearts to open our home to them.”
