Jessaka, who grew up with her parents in a house where they fostered children as well, she knew what the children were going through. She remembered what the other children in her own home would tell her of their experiences and what they felt. She grew up surrounded by up to a dozen foster children at one time. Two of the foster children in her home were adopted and became her legal brothers.
