A varsity football player at Georgetown and Purdue, Jim Gaffigan graduated with a degree in finance. Neither of those pursuits would hint at the bright future he would have in the completely unrelated field of comedy.
Coming to New York City to pursue his dream of becoming a successful comic, in the same vein as fellow Indiana native David Letterman, Gaffigan proceeded to do just that. One of the most famous “clean” comics out there, Gaffigan often talks about his family, his faith – and his love of food! His multiple Grammy-nominated standup specials have contributed to his $25 million net worth.
