Reprising the role of Victor Sifuentes, a public defender who was recruited by the firm, he is one of television’s earliest representations of a social justice warrior, being passionate about social justice and social issues. He would go on to win an Emmy for the show before reprising a role in NYPD Blue. Interesting, the role he landed in NYPD Blue was the same role he turned down when he went to do LA Law.
