Nancy Vawter played the role of Dorothy Wyler for fifteen episodes of LA Law between the years 1988 and 1989. She played minor roles in TV and films such as Hill Street Blues, Kentucky Woman, and Second Thoughts. After performing on LA Law, Vawter went on to play the role of Admiral Margaret Blackwell in Star Trek: The Next Generation. She has not really acted in anything since then.
