Even in his youth, Ty was known for always having a positive attitude and a beaming smile. And despite his being faced with the very difficult challenges that come from his injury, he had never once lost his spirit. He kept up his sense of humor and still had that same smile. It’s something his teammates all took note of as well. One teammate said, “It’s like things never changed no matter what was going on.”
