James even tried to get the prom manager to help intervene and mediate the situation. The discussion was getting more heated with every minute passing and Mrs. Duncan was getting even more stubborn. She was not willing to listen to reason.
Mrs. Duncan quickly became exasperated and repeatedly yelled back at the students that she would not debate this further. Finally, Mrs. Duncan snapped and called upon an additional chaperone to help her end this discussion once and for all.
