So the real question is, why did Hofmeester decide to capture his children’s stages of life on camera? The answer is something that many parents can relate to, they were growing up way too fast.
He explained the inspiration for the project, “She was changing at such a rapid pace, that I felt the need to document the way she looked, to keep my memories intact. Other people might make a photo book, but I decided to film.”
