Planning a wedding is a stressful time, and planning a royal wedding possibly even more so. The Queen was reportedly unimpressed with Meghan’s behavior in the run-up to the big day. Firstly, the duchess-to-be decided to wear an emerald tiara instead of the one offered her by the Queen, which reportedly left the monarch “upset.”
Prince Harry didn’t escape the Queen’s wrath either, as he was heard to tell staff, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets!” When the Queen got wind of that, she spoke to her grandson privately and “put him firmly in his place.”
