Although Dolly might have loved to take that baby on her doorstep into her home forever, she knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. Dolly has had an incredibly busy life, and adding a child of her own into the mix was going to be too much.
She made sure little Jolene was looked after by calling the authorities and now also makes sure many other children are looked after thanks to the Imagination Library. This effort to improve the lives of children truly makes Dolly Parton a remarkable woman.
