Although many fans were convinced that Diego and Cote were perfect for each other, it seems as though the pressures of fame and fortune put a strain on their relationship. The couple did not formally announce the reason for their break up, but many fans suggest that Cote’s rise to fame and busy schedule played a part in their separation.
While it seems as though Cote has since gotten over this heartbreak, she has not dated anyone since they parted ways. Hopefully, she will find the person of her dreams soon.
