But not all in Marie’s decisions seems to go awry. In 2016, she founded a charity organization bearing her name, the Marie Holmes Foundation. Her initial investment was $9.7 million.
Her foundation hosts holiday giveaways where donations are made to underprivileged children. Despite her initial hardships, she was really able to make a difference in the end to those who needed it. Many of the families she now helps are a lot like what hers was, so she really took it up to herself to pay what she received forward.
