But apparently, Holmes didn’t do it all wrong, either. Despite it seeming a little rash or frivolous, experts actually agree with Marie’s decision to receive the money all at once.
It was evidently proven by financial experts, that if you invest the money you won wisely, it would be worth more after 30 years than if you got it bit by bit. Of course, the key words here are investing wisely, which unfortunately Marie did not do.
