This was not the first time a lotto winner chose to donate their earnings to a place of worship, although it must be said that Marie’s donation was one of the largest donations to a house of worship ever made.
There have been several other people who pledged and gave tons of money to their churches, including monks, bishops, and even pastors themselves. But we must commend Marie on her huge pledge.
