It seems it was a series of bad decisions that hindered Sean Young’s ability to make it big in Hollywood. Everything started well when she portrayed Rachael in the cult sci-fi film “Blade Runner.”
However, it all started going downhill when an injury prevented her from appearing in the superhero movie “Batman.” After that, she became desperate to reclaim her fame, even allegedly going so far as to stalk Tim Burton for the chance to play Catwoman. Naturally, this erratic behavior just made people hesitant to work with her.

In the early years of her career, Rachael Leigh Cook showed the world that she knew how to make people laugh. That was clear in comedy films like “She’s All That” and “All I Wanna Do,” but sometimes her humor missed the mark with critics.
While her career was still on the up, Cook appeared in “Josie and the Pussycats” which essentially ruined all chances of her becoming a star. It was a box office bomb, and the actress soon found herself struggling to land roles outside of short or direct-to-video films.
