Cats wasn’t just panned because it was meandering, boring and just plain weird. People also hated it because it was full of glaring mistakes. One of the worst ones happens at the end of the movie. Dame Judi Dench, as the cat Old Deuteronomy, reaches out her hand as her wedding ring glitters. Yes, you read that right. Her human hand with a wedding ring attached to a digital cat body was actually on screen.
