The character of Johnny was there to push the karate kid down so that he would be the best of the best. If only it worked out that way for him, we were pleased at the end.

He also appeared in ‘To Appomattox,’ ‘Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street,’ and ‘The Man in the Silo.’
