In 2005, Jane Fonda played the role of the terrible mother in law, Viola Fields, in the film, Monster-In-Law.
Her character treated her soon to be daughter with an awful attitude and did whatever she could to brea her and her son up. Eventually things sorted themselves out, but not before Viola almost kills her son’s fiance.
