The Canadair CF-104 Starfighter was a remake of a fighter design from the 1954 Lockheed. It started to service the Canadian military in 1962 and was designed specifically to intercept aircraft.  It was also used in low-level strikes. The aircraft has a maximum speed of 1,844 km/h and a range of 2,630 kilometers.
