Bat Masterson and Wyatt Earp were some of the most famous lawmen in history. This photo was taken in 1876 in Dodge City, Kansas, during the height of the cattle driving days. Masterson is the man standing on the left and was known for his successful shootouts. In contrast, Earp became notorious as one of the Old West’s toughest lawmen.
