The company works by bringing fans into fandoms, who said this is precisely what they did with Alex. Dil’Dominé Leonares, the company’s CEO, claimed they experimented with Alex’s photo to see how many fangirls would pick up on the post. Alex and the actual girl that snapped the picture both deny this. In fact, Alex says he has never heard of Breakr before.
