Along with the fire squad and the police force, the military is one of those contexts we wouldn’t associate with emo kids. But here’s an example of someone who made that personal journey. On the left, we see the archetypal emo kid.
The rollercoaster haircut, the striped hoodie, the hollow expression – it’s all there. These days, he rocks a different kind of stripes and a much more mature look. Perhaps a more striking difference is the presence of color in his uniform.
