What is it about growing up that takes the emo out of these former emo kids? Perhaps this dream of a happier adult life that just isn’t possible as a teenager in society is what’s behind the angst that fuels the emo phase.
Here’s another example of a former emo kid who’s now going with a more natural look and smiling at the camera. It’s probably largely because vet school feels more meaningful and wholesome than high school.
