The world erupted with a loud cheer when Leonardo DiCaprio finally won his ‘Best Actor’ Oscar at the 2016 Academy Awards, and this was, of course, for his performance in 2015’s action-drama ‘The Revenant’.
However, this accolade didn’t come easy – the on-set environment of Canada’s wilderness was dangerous for all of the cast and crew, especially the leading man. According to DiCaprio, he was constantly on the brink of hypothermia from having to endure the freezing-cold temperatures. So, was the Oscar worth it?
