On Facebook, many of your interactions are visible to all of your friends. Everyone can see when you tag your bestie in that cute dog video, or when you tag your significant other in that meme that perfectly sums up your relationship.
However, you have to use your tagging capabilities cautiously, because if things go wrong, you’ll have an audience. Dan learned this the hard way. Even though Jen broke up with him four months ago, he continued to tag her in memes that brought her to mind. Sometimes, habits are hard to break. Anyway, when Jen had enough, she didn’t waste a moment before publicly posting her disapproval so all their friends could see. That’s embarrassing.
