After word of their story made it to the outside world, Today got in contact with Dane for an interview. It was during this May 2018 discussion that Dane explained why he had posted the video on Facebook for the world to see. At that moment, he was feeling overwhelmed with love for his family. He had a beautiful wife, two perfect daughters, and two loving new additions to their brood. The video made him incredibly happy, so he wanted to see if it could make others happy. If they could brighten someone’s day, they had done something right.
