In 2000, Ali Larter played the role of Clear Rivers in the thriller, Final Destination. The film follows several teenagers who try to cheat death, only to find that their efforts are typically futile. Clear first manages to avoid death’s clutches by escaping a doomed airplane, and it only continues from there. Clear survives longer than her fellow survivors from the plane crash, and ends up making it to the sequel, but ultimately no one can outrun death forever, and she is eventually killed.
