After a road accident leads a group of teenagers to make a tragic mistake, Julie and her friends later find themselves being stalked by a killer. Julie ultimately survives the killer’s rampage, and goes on to appear in the sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Hewitt’s role as Julie put her in the spotlight, and ended up being a defining moment of her career.
