According to Dr. Pratt, Jenny is still carrying multiple traumas from her past which have contributed to her growing BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder).
BDD is a mental disorder, in which a person is obsessed with his physical appearance while imagining delusional flaws or exaggerating actual ones. He then will take extreme measures to “fix himself”. Categorized in the obsessive-compulsive spectrum, BDD affects approximately 3% of the population in the United States.
