Beside all of their problems on-set, now the show was facing threats from the outside. Bewitched debuted on NBC in 1964, while I Dream of Jeannie debuted just one year later on the competing network, ABC. Elizabeth was reportedly livid at this competitive move and did her best to make sure that audiences loved Bewitched more than they did the competition’s show. And while Bewitched ended up being extremely beloved, we can only imagine the amount of stress it brought onto the set.
