In reality, however, Colon is only four years older than her on-screen son Pacino, making her barely old enough to play his older sister. This may seem unusual, but media is actually rife with similar examples of parents and children being almost the same age. The craziest example? Estelle Getty, who played Bea Arthur’s mother on ’90s sitcom Golden Girls, was actually a year younger than her!
