Queen Elizabeth’s only daughter Princess Anne has always been something of an odd duck among the Royal Family. Fun fact: she’s the first and only member of the Royal Family to date to compete in the Olympic Games, riding the Queen’s own horse in the 1976 Montreal Games’ equestrian eventing competition.
In 2002, however, Anne made headlines for a different animal – her dog Dotty. It seems her English bull terrier bit two children, and she was forced to pay a fine. This made her another first – the first senior member of the family to be charged with an offense.
