The longer a show is on the air, the more money it makes. That allows for better quality content and opportunities for marketing, but it also means the actors can negotiate for a higher salary. We’d be surprised if after twelve years on “The Big Bang Theory,” the cast were still working on the same pay that they received when they first started. The series’ immense success has meant that the actors have been able to get a pay rise, and a significant one at that.
