After having travelled half way across the world to a random group of atolls in the middle of the Pacific ocean, many people wanted to know every detail of what happened.
So, Jose Alvarenga decided that he would get help in order to write a novel about his journey, both as a way for him to cope with what happened, as well as in order to have a new way to make money. We hope they turn the book into a movie too!

As time has gone on, there has been some question as to what the official version of events actually is. Some people have said that all of the GPS and radio equipment was washed overboard, while others say that the radio only had half a battery before the two men set out.
But, perhaps most interestingly, there is the question of what exactly happened to Ezequiel Cordoba? Did he starve to death, or was it something much worse?
