Being Prince William’s girlfriend, Kate met his family on many occasions before she eventually became his wife. While she might not have been regularly hanging out with the Queen, she struck up a good friendship with Prince Harry and whoever he was dating at the time. The girlfriends often spent time together while their partners competed in charity polo matches, which is where this photo was taken. Harry’s girlfriend back then was Chelsy Davy, daughter of businessman Charles Davy, who he was dating until 2009.
