The kindness of strangers can create strong bonds between people who otherwise would never meet. One frozen winter’s day, this elderly woman was afraid to cross the street because she didn’t want to slip on the ice. She approached this young man and asked for his help. He agreed, and did so again the next icy day, and the next. Now, he helps her out all the time, and the two have become close friends, often spotted walking hand-in-hand down the street.
