Today, Lakynn is no longer a baby. At seven years old, she apparently takes part in cheer competitions. While there is something to be said for letting children be children, and leaving things like popularity contests for high school, it seems like both mother and daughter genuinely enjoy them.
McKinli loved watching her daughter excel in something she put time and energy into, and she also loved that it gave them the chance to do something together without the rest of the family vying for attention.
