When you put yourself out there for the entire world to see, you should never forget that fame does have a darker side. While McKinli undoubtedly has a devoted following of people who genuinely care about who she is and what she does, she also has an army of cynics who dismisses and makes fun of her.
She could then be considered to be something of a cautionary tale – a modern-day iteration of “be careful what you wish for.” She wanted to be famous, and succeeded, but it came with a price.
