When she was cast in Married… with Children, Tia Carrere was already a successful model, having risen to fame when she was cast on the soap opera General Hospital.
Since then, she has appeared in a number of films and television shows including the comedy Wayne’s World, action comedy True Lies, and animated movie Lilo and Stitch. She has also worked as a singer, releasing several albums and even winning a Grammy Award in 2009 for her album ‘Ikena.
