Amelia couldn’t move, speak, or respond to anything that was happening around. However, that didn’t put Cesar and Norma from bringing the children to spend time with their mother. Studies have shown that people in comas can often hear their surroundings. This is because hearing is the last sense to go before someone slips away. Perhaps if Amelia listened to her children, she would have a reason to wake up? Maybe the sounds of her newborn could even be enough to get her to pull through?
