Jessica started out her career as a singer as the star was just 16 years old when she signed her first record contract. This was about to mark the beginning of a whole new chapter in her life – one that would catapult her to the height of fame. It wasn’t long into her career that Jessica released the single Sweet Kisses in 1999, and from there it was hit after hit as she continued to dominate the charts.
Jessica’s time on the music scene soon saw her meet and fall for fellow musician, Nick Lachey. The couple dated for many years before tying the knot it October 2002. This was yet another change for Jessica as she soon became a reality TV star on her show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The pair quickly became household names until they sadly divorced in 2005.
