Seems appropriate that a free spirit like Jack would find his way to the mother of all free folk, Joni Mitchell. The two had a short fling in the early 70s, what a time it was! Fresh off of her stint in Woodstock, Joni was the escape that Jack was looking for in a woman. The singer and songwriter was hitting her all-time high with her 1971 record, Blue.
