When Versace was still living here, designs weren’t quite as modern as what we’re used to now. The hotel owners tried to stay dedicated to that when they refurbished the mansion which is why a lot of the furniture is still fairly vintage.
Many of the rooms retain the classic style that Gianni loved so much, making the redesigns like a relic of the past. Trying to make things too modern wouldn’t have worked, especially with the older architecture and all those paintings on the wall.
