Like with many celebrity marriages, Don and Kelly didn’t know each other for too long before they tied the knot. Apparently, they first crossed paths in 1996 while celebrating the birthday of Mayor Willie Brown.
A mutual friend introduced them, and within a year, they were dating. The spark between them was clear to see, so it was no surprise that the pair had gotten engaged by 1998. Then, the following year, they tied the knot in quite a star-studded ceremony, with Brown presiding over the ceremony.
