Rafaela’s husband Rafael has spoken to the Daily Mail about the triplets’ tricky ways. He distinctly remembers a time where all of the sisters and their partners were cooking dinner in the kitchen, and the girls decided to switch places when the men weren’t looking.
Because they had not seen them switch, Rafael thought Rafaela was still in the same place and went to hug her. Almost immediately, he realized that he had hugged the wrong sister.

Even though they met their fiancés at different times in their lives, the triplets all got engaged around the same time. As soon as the third triplet had announced the news, their father made a suggestion that changed the wedding plans.
Instead of getting married in separate ceremonies on different days, why not get married on the same day, at the same time? After all, they shared everything else in their life, so why not share their big day, too?
